I began work on this two story 200sqm architecturally designed 2 bedroom house in 2011.

I started in the downstairs by adding different shades of grey paint to several of the walls to accentuate the architectural features of the internal spacing as well as create a homier atmosphere is such a large open planned room. I then totally modified the fireplace by tiling the box cover with a custom grey slate mosaic tile I sourced from Australia. By then adding an eclectic mixture of furniture and accents of bright colours I was able to create a feeling reflecting the cultural and historical influences of the surrounding neighbourhoods.
